More than 700 schoolchildren representing the Armenian schools of Aleppo (Sahakyan, Gulbenkian, Haykazyan, Zavaryan Schools and the National Kindergarten) joined the “Millions of children were not born as a result of the Armenian Genocide” program organized by Hayern Aysor electronic newspaper of the RA Ministry of Diaspora. The schoolchildren took photos with the lower floor of the Holy Martyrs Church of Deir ez-Zor in the background.

When you look into the eyes of those children, you will understand all that they have experienced over the past three years. There is melancholy even in their smiles, but at the same time they are strong, have willpower, hope and are aware.

Look into their eyes, and you will become certain that the Armenian community of Aleppo will live forever…

Expressing gratitude to the children taking the responsibility to participate in such a program under these conditions and those who have helped organize the program wouldn’t be enough. We can sincerely bow in front of each of them, without any exaggeration…

As long as you exist and are what you are, the Turks will always be defeated…

P.S. Let us mention that about 6,000 people have already participated in this program. The first Armenian community that participated in the program was the Armenian community of Kuwait. To this day, 13 countries have joined the program. The countries that have been the most organized and have ensured the highest number of participants have been Armenia, Syria and Kuwait.

We hope the Armenian community of Aleppo will encourage other communities and they will also participate in this program with a sense of responsibility.

All the members of the community have to do is to give a this sign to a child and take a photo of the child near any Armenian Genocide memorial, or a picture of an Armenian Genocide memorial and send the photo to hayernaysor@gmail.com.
