Concert dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Armenian Independence held in Warsaw
On August 23, the Mikayel Voskanyan and Friends ethno-jazz ensemble gave a concert dedicated to the 26th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence of Armenia at the Artsakh Rugs Gallery of the Royal Fortress/Museum of Warsaw. The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Poland with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia and held on the sidelines of the events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Armenia, as reported the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Hayern Aysor.
In his welcome speech addressed to the gathered, RA Ambassador to Poland Edgar Ghazaryan stated that the venue of the concert was symbolic in that Theresa Sahakyan’s collection of rugs of Artsakh decorating the gallery showed once again that “Artsakh is first and foremost the people who live and work on their native land and create international cultural values.”
Among the attendees were representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland and other government agencies, the ambassadors of several countries accredited to Warsaw, diplomats, journalists and members of the local Armenian community.
