2015 “Diaspora” Summer School Program set to kick off with grand opening ceremony

On July 10 at 16:30, the RA Ministry of Diaspora will launch the 2015 “Diaspora” Summer School Program with a grand opening ceremony to be held at the Cultural Center of Yerevan State University (Address: YSU, 1 A. Manoogian St., Main Building, 6th floor).

RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan will give opening remarks.

The participants will also be greeted by members of the YSU Cultural Center.

The “Diaspora” Summer School Program is set to kick off with accelerated Armenian language courses for 126 Diaspora Armenians from Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Lebanon, the USA, Romania, Italy, Spain and the Czech Republic.

 The program will include the following courses:

 1. Accelerated Armenian Language Courses (9 July-1 August)

 2. Training for Armenian Language Teachers and Organizers of Education of Armenian Schools (14 July-1 August)

 3. Course for Diaspora Armenian Journalists (21 July-1 August)

 4. Master Classes for Choirmasters, Dance Group Directors and Dance Instructors (21 July-1 August),

 5. Course for Young Diaspora Armenian Leaders (21 July-1 August),

 6. Course for Community Activists in the Diaspora (26 July-1 August)
