On July 11, artistic director of the “My Armenia” Pan-Armenian Festival Samvel Haroyan had a meeting with the directors of the dance ensembles that participated in the Days of Armenian Dance Program.

Among the participants of the meeting were the artistic directors of the dance ensembles, including Armine Avetisyan (Lipeck, Russian Federation), Yelena Gevorgyan, Araxi Karlsyan (Tver, Russian Federation), Arpine Amiryan (Moscow, Russian Federation), Amalya Mosinyan, Anna Mosinyan (Krasnodar, Russian Federation), Hrachik Gevorgyan (Rostov, Russian Federation), Inga Vardazaryan (Pyatigorsk, Russian Federation), Alisa Hovakimyan (Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation), Naslet Keyan (Akhalkalak, Georgia), Hamlet Hovhannisyan, Metaksya Avagyan (Kharkov, Ukraine), Anna Shmavonyan (Kuwait), as well as deputy director of the “My Armenia” Pan-Armenian Festival Eduard Yesayants and correspondent for the Diaspora Armenian groups Lusine Petrosyan.

The sides summed up the results of the Days of Armenian Dance Program and discussed future plans. Haroyan attached importance to support to the solution to the dance groups’ problems and mentioned that the organizers of the festival are willing to help the groups with music, costumes, selection of dances and more.

The directors of the dance ensembles expressed their gratitude to the RA Ministry of Diaspora for organizing the Days of Armenian Dance Program in the best way possible and expressed willingness to continue to maintain the relations and experienced that they had gained, as well as engage more young Armenians and strengthen their bonds with the Homeland and preserve the Armenian culture.
