On Mar. 4, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received members of Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization.

During the meeting, Minister Hranush Hakobyan commended the establishment of the organization and mentioned that the Syrian-Armenians settling in Armenia are actively involved in the society, economy and other spheres and are shaping a new culture of service. The minister added that the Syrian-Armenians have introduced something new to the country with their diligence, intelligence and modesty.

President of Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization Ani Balekhian expressed gratitude to the RA Minister of Diaspora for keeping the key issues facing Syrian-Armenians on the agenda and for her support, mentioning that the organization is deeply aware of the difficulties facing Armenia in relation to the problems concerning Syrian-Armenians who have taken shelter in Armenia. Balekhian also praised the Armenian government’s assistance to the Syrian-Armenians.
