Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan meets with members of Armenian community of Lyon

On November 26, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, who is on a working visit to France, had a meeting with members of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France (CCAF). Among the attendees were Chairman Raffi Krikorian, Vice-Chairman Vazken Eskijian, General Secretary Mko Mkhsian, as well as Anna Gambeau, Liza Giliber and Arthur Derderian.
Hranush Hakobyan was accompanied by Deputy Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Lyon Gaiane Manukyan.
In her speech, the Minister touched upon the Armenia-Diaspora Conferences and attached importance to the participation of the French-Armenian community in nation-building.
During the meeting, the board members of the CCAF presented their proposals to Hranush Hakobyan.
Afterwards, Minister Hranush Hakobyan had a meeting with representatives of the Armenian community of Lyon at Garbis Manoogian Hall, which is located next to the Saint Hakob Armenian Church. The Minister presented the programs and completed activities of the Ministry of Diaspora and encouraged the members of the community to visit Armenia and actively participate in empowering Armenian statehood. At the end of her speech, Hranush Hakobyan granted awards to members of the community.
After the meeting, the Minister of Diaspora answered questions from the attendees.
