On November 28, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, who is on a working visit to France, visited the St. Mesrob Armenian School in Alfortville. Hranush Hakobyan toured the school and met with the students and teachers with the accompaniment of RA Ambassador to France Vigen Chitechyan.

After the tour, the Minister and the administration discussed the directions for cooperation between the school and the Ministry of Diaspora, particularly the issues on organizing teacher training courses, enriching the school’s library with the help of the Ministry and organizing the visits of students to Armenia.

The opening ceremony of the new building of St. Mesrob Armenian School in Alfortville was held in 2015 under the direction of the Prime Ministers of France and Armenia. RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan also participated in the opening ceremony as part of the delegation led by RA Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan.
