РусскийHranush Hakobyan visits Soghomon Tehleryan Square in Marseille
On November 23, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, who is on a working visit to France, visited Soghomon Tehleryan Square in Marseille along with Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan, Consul General of the Republic of Armenia in Marseille Vartan Sirmakes and Deputy Mayor of Marseille Didier Parakian.
Hranush Hakobyan and the attendees laid flowers near the plaque certifying the naming of the square.
Let us add that the official ceremony of naming of the square was held ahead of the 102nd anniversary of the Armenian Genocide on April 21, 2017. The ceremony was organized by the Municipality of Marseille and the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France and held with the participation of Mayor of Marseille Jean-Claude Gaudin, several public and political figures and representatives of the Armenian community of France.
