Primate of Armenian Diocese of Kuwait and Director of Armenian School of Kuwait visit Ministry of Diaspora
Minister of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia Hranush Hakobyan received Primate of the Armenian Diocese of the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia in Kuwait, Supreme Archimandrite Massis Zobouian and Director of the Armenian School of Kuwait Nerses Sarkisian.
Greeting the guests, the Minister highly appreciated the activities of the Diocese of the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia in Kuwait and its efforts for preservation of the Armenian identity and expressed her satisfaction with the efforts that the two major organizations of Kuwait make for preservation of the Armenian identity.
The Minister stated that she is proud of the Armenian community, the members of which make great contributions to Armenian-Kuwaiti relations and to the development of economy and culture in the country. The 15,000 members of the community are involved in technology and shine with their creative works. The Minister attached importance to the community’s active participation in the programs of the Ministry of Diaspora.
The guests expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Diaspora and particularly to Minister Hranush Hakobyan for the cordial reception and the consistent support that Hranush Hakobyan and the Ministry of Diaspora show to the Armenian School of Kuwait and the entire Armenian community.
Supreme Archimandrite Massis Zobouian attached importance to the Minister’s visits to Armenian communities and stated that those visits are very exciting for the members of the communities who view the words of the Minister as messages. The Supreme Archimandrite stated that the Armenian community of Kuwait is very thankful for the support of the Ministry and highly appreciates the mission that the Minister and the staff of the Ministry carry out.
Minister Hranush Hakobyan expressed gratitude to the Armenian Church and the Armenian School of Kuwait for their dedication, active efforts and their willingness to support the homeland.
