On May 4, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received President of the Miss Armenia Foundation, Miss Armenia-1998, Miss CIS-1999 and Miss Globe-2009 Gohar Harutyunyan.

The Minister welcomed the initiative of the President of the Miss Armenia Foundation to organize the “Beauty and Elegance” Pan-Armenian Competition, which is aimed at revealing Armenian females who will represent Armenia at the Miss World and Miss Universe competitions.

Gohar Harutyunyan expressed gratitude for the cordial reception, the willingness for support and noted that the final stage of the competition would be held in September when 25-30 Armenian beauties will be selected based on applications to be received from Armenia’s provinces and different countries around the world. The announcement about the competition and the applications will soon be posted on the official website of the Miss Armenia Foundation and forwarded to all Diaspora Armenian media outlets, as well as to Armenian communities and pan-Armenian organizations.
