International conference on “Armenian Women During and After the Armenian Genocide” set to kick off

On April 17 at 10:30, the RA Ministry of Diaspora and ARS Armenia Regional Committee will host an international conference entitled “Armenian Women During and After the Armenian Genocide” at Erebuni Plaza Business Center (26/1 V. Sargsyan St., 9th floor, Erebuni Hall). The conference is dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide.

RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan will give her opening remarks, after which Chairwoman of the ARS Central Committee Vickie Marashlian and Chairwoman of the ARS Armenia Regional Committee Narine Galstyan will give their welcoming remarks.

The event will include a screening of parts from filmmaker Susan Khardalian’s film “Grandma’s Tattoos”.

The event will also include an exhibition-fair showcasing the pastries and handmade items made by Syrian-Armenians living in Armenia.
