On October 7, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received Co-Chair of the Armenian-French Federation of Legal Professions, French-Armenian benefactor Raymond Ezegelian, who has helped carry out a number of pro-Armenian initiatives in France and Armenia.

The Minister praised Ezegelian’s pro-national activities and his willingness to support the programs of the Ministry of Diaspora and presented the initiatives that are aimed at solving the issues of national concern. Hranush Hakobyan also provided Raymond Ezegelian with a detailed presentation of the annual “State of Armenians in the World” Report, the issues raised in the report, the overall picture of the Armenian Diaspora and the future actions.

The guest expressed great satisfaction with the programs of the Ministry of Diaspora aimed at preserving the Armenian identity.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues on further engagement of Diaspora Armenian communities in the upcoming programs of the Ministry. The Minister particularly attached importance to the participation of the leaders and representatives of Diaspora Armenian media outlets and Armenian journalists of foreign media outlets in the 8^th Pan-Armenian Forum of Journalists, which is organized by the RA Ministry of Diaspora and is set to take place on 20-24 October.

The sides also discussed other issues related to the development of the Armenia-Diaspora partnership.
