2016 “Diaspora” Summer School Program: Diaspora Armenian teachers hosted at Edit Print Publishing House
On July 12, the participants of the Training Course for Teachers of Armenian Language and Literature and Organizers of Education (part of the “Diaspora” Summer School Program of the RA Ministry of Diaspora) visited Edit Print Publishing House where they were introduced to the activities of the publishing house and the books that were being published.
In an interview with Hayern Aysor, Head of the Division for Scientific and Educational Programs of the Department of All-Armenian Programs at the RA Ministry of Diaspora Sirvard Ghambaryan stated that the Ministry of Diaspora believes it is very important to introduce the participants of the teacher training course of the “Diaspora” Summer School Program to the books of all the publishing houses of Armenia that have published textbooks, supporting materials, conversational books, maps, albums and packages of state emblems of Armenia especially for Armenian schools abroad.
The Diaspora Armenian teachers and organizers of education were very excited as they toured the publishing house. During the entire visit, President of the Union of Armenian Publishers and President of Edit Print Publishing House Mkrtich Karapetyan accompanied them and provided them with information about the publishing house and the books that are being published.
