Lebanese-Armenian participant of “Ari Tun” Program: “I only have good impressions of the “Ari Tun” Program”

Lebanese-Armenian Alexan Azarian is one of the participants of the “Ari Tun” Program of the RA Ministry of Diaspora. He attends the Yeghishe Manukyan Armenian School in Lebanon.

In an interview with Hayern Aysor, Alexan said his parents had brought him to Armenia several times, introducing him to the history and culture of his country so that he could have a clear picture of the Homeland. “I love Armenia and am proud to be Armenian. My parents play a huge role in providing me with an Armenian upbringing in Lebanon. They do everything they can to make sure I speak only Armenian at home and never forget my native language,” Alexan mentioned.

Alexan took his aunt’s advice and applied to participate in the “Ari Tun” Program. He doesn’t regret it and says he only has good impressions.

During the grand opening ceremony of the third stage of the “Ari Tun” Program, Alexan became the young Diaspora Armenian whom RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan dressed in the shirt and hat with the logo of the program and gave him a backpack with the logo since he was the youngest participant.

“I am happy that the “heroic” organizers of the program had selected me because receiving such attention from the Minister of Diaspora was a responsible and unforgettable moment for me,” Alexan Azarian concluded.
