On September 29, the participants of the “Komitas Vardapet” Pan-Armenian Festival organized by the RA Ministry of Diaspora headed towards Etchmiadzin and visited the Treasury of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. On September 29, the Armenian Church celebrated one of the four holidays devoted to the Holy Cross, that is, the Holy Cross of Varaga Day. On this occasion, a Divine Liturgy was served at all Armenian churches, and the participants of the festival attended the Liturgy served at the Mother Temple of Holy Etchmiadzin.

After the liturgy, the participants had a meeting with Director of the Christian Education Center of the Mother See, Father, Archimandrite Vardan Navasardyan at the Gevorgyan Spiritual Lyceum.

Among performers were the St. Gregory the Illuminator Chamber Choir of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Northern Osetia of the Russian Federation (artistic director Adelina Grigoryan), the Norahrash and Ovsanna Choirs of Moscow (artistic director Yelena Beglaryan), Ararat Choir of Ararat Organization of Tehran (artistic director Arax Khachatrian) and Krunk Choir of Syria (artistic director Shahe Keshishian).
