Anoush Armenian Dance Group dedicated activities to “What are YOU doing for Artsakh?” pan-Armenian movement throughout 2017

Anoush Armenian Dance Group of the Armenian Compatriotic Union of the German city of Munich, under the direction of the dance group’s founder, dance instructor and artistic director Anoush Chakhalyan, has actively participated in the “What are YOU doing for Artsakh?” pan-Armenian movement launched by the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia by dedicating all of its activities of the year to popularization of the pan-Armenian movement. Anoush Chakhalyan believes every Armenian must do whatever he or she can to make a contribution to this movement for the benefit of Artsakh.

By participating in concerts and international festivals in various cities across Germany and raising signs devoted to the movement, the dance group informed audiences about not only Armenian culture, but also the issues of Artsakh.

Summing up the activities carried out as part of the pan-Armenian movement, the dance group’s members have decided to surprise the children of Stepanakert and the boarding school of Berdzor with boxes of pastries sent from Munich.

In an interview with Hayern Aysor, Anoush Chakhalyan said she feels spiritually calm after completing the program, conveying warmth and putting smiles on the faces of children of Artsakh ahead of the New Year. The dance group’s director said the members completed this major task with great excitement and a high sense of responsibility and added that the group will continue to participate in the programs being carried out by the RA Ministry of Diaspora.

“We are all waiting for the New Year and Christmas with the best hopes and expectations. So, I wish that the year of the loyal dog brings kindness, helps people fulfill their dreams and stay healthy. May the year 2018 be a year of peace for the Armenian army! I would especially like to thank the brave Armenian soldiers for continuing to defend us.

May the year 2018 be a year of many victories for all Armenians! As for me, I will continue to serve Armenian culture in the Diaspora,” Anoush Chakhalyan concluded with her kind wishes for the New Year.
