Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan to participate in Artsakh Days in Brussels
From November 16 to 19, various events will be held in Brussels as part of the Artsakh Days 2016 events, as reported communications correspondent of the Armenian National Committee of Europe Bedo Demirjian to Hayern Aysor.
Several political and cultural events will be held throughout the four days. There will also be a three-day exhibition aimed at presenting the societies of Belgium and the European Union to the opportunities for tourism in Artsakh, showing and informing travel agencies that Karabakh is an alternative destination with its cuisine, centuries-old traditions and cultural heritage. Samples of products of Artsakh and a variety of dishes will also be presented.
Let us also mention that a large delegation led by President Bako Sahakyan is also expected to arrive in Belgium where the President will have meetings with political figures.
The Artsakh Days will end with a festive reception to be held at an Armenian cultural center, featuring performances by the soloists of the Voices of Artsakh Group.
The goal of Artsakh Days is to show Europe the reality in Nagorno-Karabakh and that Nagorno-Karabakh is not just a conflict, but a young republic with a centuries-old heritage that is building its democratic state and future.
