Participants of “Diaspora” Summer School Program visit TUMO Center for Creative Technologies

On July 25, the participants of the Training Course for Teachers of Armenian Language and History and Organizers of Education and the Accelerated Armenian Language Courses (part of the “Diaspora” Summer School Program of the RA Ministry of Diaspora) visited TUMO Center for Creative Technologies.

As reported Hayern Aysor, the participants of the “Diaspora” Summer School Program were accompanied by Head of the Division for Scientific and Educational Programs of the Department of All-Armenian Programs at the RA Ministry of Diaspora Sirvard Hambaryan.

At TUMO, the participants were introduced to the Center, its history and activities. They also watched a short film devoted to the Center that sparked their interest.

After the film screening, the Diaspora Armenian guests asked the staff of TUMO their questions of concern. They were mainly interested in how they could participate in the Center’s programs. In response, the employees told them that they could take part in TUMO’s summer camp.

Afterwards, the participants of the “Diaspora” Summer School Program toured TUMO Center for Creative Technologies and were introduced to the children attending classes and what they do at the Center. They visited pavilions, the recording studio and the cinema. Leaving the Center, the participants also toured Tumanyan Park.

“TUMO is a wonderful place that allows children of different families to discover new creative approaches. TUMO’s programs are designed for the comprehensive development of an adolescent. It is worth mentioning that this Center was created by a Diaspora Armenian, and this goes to show once again the unwavering relationship between Armenia and the Diaspora,” participant of the “Diaspora” Summer School Program Katya Royeva said as she shared her impressions in an interview with Hayern Aysor.
