The delegation of Israel’s Knesset will leave for Armenia for the participation of the ceremonies dedicated to the centenary of the Armenian Genocide.

It is noted that the visit of the parliamentary delegation to Armenia does not suggest changes in Israel’s official policy on the matter, NEWSru.co.il reported.

Earlier a group of Israelis launched a signature campaign under a petition calling for official recognition of the Armenian Genocide by Israel. The text of petition was posted on English, Hebrew and Russian.
