April 3 flashmob to be held at place where Tehleryan executed Talaat Pasha
On April 2, heroic Armenian Soghomon Tehleryan’s birthday, citizens of Hamburg organized a flashmob dedicated to the Armenian Genocide Centennial by opening the 100 meter long Armenian Tricolor Flag symbolizing the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Another similar flashmob will be held in Berlin, at the exact place where on March 15, 1921, Soghomon Tehleryan executed Minister of Internal Affairs of the Young Turks, main organizer of the Armenian Genocide Talaat Pasha as part of Operation Nemesis, as President of the Germany-based Tigran Mets” Charitable Foundation, participant of the Artsakh war, photojournalist Srapion Gevorgyan reports.
According to the organizers of the flashmob, if there are no disturbances, the flashmob will be held at midday on 3 April.
Armenian wrestlers living and performing in Germany will also be participating in the flashmob.
