On 18-28 February, the RA Ministry of Diaspora, the Armenian General Benevolent Union and the Center for Coordination of Syrian-Armenians’ Issues NGO organized an exhibition called “Aleppo: Troublesome Days”. The exhibition was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the AGBU Sarian Academy of Arts and was part of the events dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide.
On March 16, the works of the Syrian-Armenian children were showcased at the children’s creative center in Stepanakert at the initiative of Deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, singer Shushan Petrosyan.
This exhibition is organized as part of the events dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide and is another way of keeping the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide alive. “Armenian children definitely need to know, remember and demand so that such things never happen again,” Director of the Children’s Creative Center of Stepanakert SNCO Lyudmila Barseghyan mentioned as she talked about the Armenian Genocide. Barseghyan also transmitted the welcome speech of RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan to the guests.
