Contest committee for “Best Article Published Ahead of the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide” contest holds session

On March 13, the contest committee for the contest called “Best Article Published Ahead of the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide” held a session at the RA Ministry of Diaspora. The session was moderated by chair of the committee, President of the Union of Journalists of Armenia Astghik Gevorgyan and was held with the participation of RA Deputy Minister of Diaspora Serzh Srapionyan.

The members of the committee summed up the results of examinations of the applications that had been submitted to the committee.

The members selected and approved 12 winners in four categories, including print media, electronic media, foreign language media and radio).

Editor-in-chief of Lebanon’s Aztag Daily Shahan Kantaharian, editor-in-chief of Russia’s “Noyev Kovcheg” newspaper Grigor Anisonyan, editor-in-chief of the Czech Republic’s Orer magazine Hakob Asatryan and U.S.-based member of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party (Ramgavar), journalist and publicist Hagop Vardivarian also participated in the session via video.
