Stepanakert paid tribute to innocent victims of Sumgait Pogrom (photos)

Since early this morning, hundreds of people have been walking to the memorial complex in Stepanakert to pay tribute to the innocent victims of the pogrom that the Azerbaijanis perpetrated in Sumgait 27 years ago, as Artsakhpress reports.
Among the visitors were President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan, leader of the Artsakh Diocese, Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, Speaker of the National Assembly Ashot Ghulyan, other state officials, as well as staffs of state, non-governmental and educational institutions and several guests from Armenia who laid wreaths and flowers near the plaque placed in memory of the innocent victims of the Sumgait Pogrom. A Requiem Service was officiated by Leader of the Artsakh Diocese, His Holiness Pargev in memory of the innocent victims of the massacres.
