The RA Ministry of Diaspora congratulates all Armenian students of Armenia and abroad, with the desire to see them work hard and take responsibility for preserving the Armenian identity and implementing programs aimed at preserving the Armenian identity.
On 17 November 1939, the Fascists blocked the student hostel of Prague University and took nearly 1,200 students to a concentration camp. That same day, based on information from certain sources, nine students received a life sentencing. Later, on 17 November 1946, the International Congress of Students declared that day International Students’ Day in Prague.
Today, November 17th is considered the symbolic day of consolidation of all students. On that day, they rejoice and forget about tests and exams.
