On September 26, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received General Secretary of the Lebanon-Armenia Friendship Association, President of the Lebanese Jewelers Syndicate Boghos Kurdian.

The minister praised the efforts of Boghos Kurdian and the Lebanon-Armenia Friendship Association, mentioning that the Syndicate’s major goal is to provide the Lebanese with up-front information about Armenia and the key issues of national concern.

Expressing gratitude to the RA Minister of Diaspora for the cordial reception, Boghos Kurdian mentioned that there is a need for such syndicates in all Armenian-populated cities around the world and that such syndicates can help organize advocacy for recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide and the elimination of the consequences thereof more efficiently and dissemination information about investment opportunities.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to the 5^th Armenia-Diaspora Conference and the need to have more Diaspora Armenians make investments in the homeland.
