Dear principals, teachers, parents and students of Armenian schools abroad,

I cordially congratulate you on the occasion of Knowledge Day.

Education lies at the core of our nation’s survival, and the school should be concerned about the Armenians of the future generation, set them in the right direction and help them make the right decisions in life.

Armenian schools abroad carry out the responsible task of preserving the Armenian identity and fight to make sure that the generations preserve the national image by staying true to their identity and become worthy and dedicated Armenians.

Here is where you, dear teachers and organizers of education, play a huge role. You are the ones who discover the children, awaken in them their creativity, ensure their Armenian upbringing away from home and instill in them the aspiration to stay true to their national belonging and grow up to become good people.

I bow to those who dedicated themselves to their mission, who speak and act with responsibility as they carry out their patriotic deed.

Dear schoolchildren, you must use the power of the spirit and mind of Armenians, the knowledge of the Armenian language, culture and history as “tools” in the fight against global processes. You must be competitive, be leaders and the pioneers for justice, always carrying out the mission to serve for national and universal values.

You, parents, are also a part of all this. It is thanks to you that your children will understand the importance of preserving the Armenian identity, maintaining relations with the Homeland and staying true to the nation’s value system. Speak Armenian at home, follow to make sure your children receive an Armenian education and be rest assured that with that you are making a contribution to the preservation of the Armenian identity and the reinforcement of the Armenian State.

Once again, I congratulate you all, wishing you many successes and achievements this year. I also wish you gain more knowledge and become more attached to our Homeland, Mother Armenia.
