November 17^th is International Students’ Day.

I cordially congratulate you on International Students’ Day.

Dear students, I am certain that from this point forth, you will take steps as the frontrunners for advancement and justice in today’s global, social and political processes with the Armenian spirit, power of mind, the love for life and humanitarianism and will always carry out the mission of serving for the national and universal values.

It is the duty of every society to educate a healthy and literate generation. Education lies at the core of our nation’s survival, and it is our duty to support, take care of and provide the right direction for our future and the generation to come, starting from innocent children and ending with knowledgeable youth.

I am certain that the Armenian people have a special love for, a special attitude towards and are unconditionally dedicated to education. All Armenian parents want their children to receive a higher education and create all the conditions for their children to receive it. The Armenian government is also leading a clear-cut policy to ensure the healthy and safety of students of state and private universities, passes necessary laws, develops programs and creates infrastructures. Dear youth, I congratulate all Armenian youth studying in Armenia and abroad and citizens of Armenia studying at different universities abroad on International Students’ Day and wish that you make more efforts to participate in the developments of science, education and society in the Republic of Armenia, which is the Home of the Spirit of all Armenians and contribute to the reinforcement of the Armenia-Diaspora partnership with your will, potential and competitiveness that is based on knowledge. In you we see the unique ambassadors of Armenia and our partners that will make Armenia recognized in the Armenian communities, as well as for the dissemination of Armenian spiritual and cultural values abroad and the implementation of national, pan-Armenian programs and programs for preservation of the Armenian identity.

I believe in you all and the potential to learn that is part of the Armenian gene that is inside of all of you.
