Armenian minister in Syria’s new government
An Armenian minister has been appointed in Syrian President Bashar Al Assad’s new cabinet.
As reported by “ArmenPress”, citing Aleppo’s Gandzasar Weekly, Nazira Sargis has been appointed Minister of Nature Protection.
The Syrian government comprises 35 ministries, including the new Ministry for Administrative Reforms added by a presidential decree. Uael Nater Al Halak has been appointed Chief of Staff.
On August 27, President of Syria Bashar Al Assad issued the 273rd draft law of the year in relation to Syria’s new government. Assad was reelected on 3 June, receiving 89 percent of the votes during a national election.
