Members of Board of Trustees of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund meet with RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan

On May 25, members of the Board of Trustees of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund had a meeting with RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan at the RA Ministry of Diaspora.
Greeting the guests, Hranush Hakobyan said: “The establishment of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund is one of the major achievements of our newly independent country. It is a powerful network that highly contributes to the solution to issues of national concern. Your active efforts and dedication help the Fund continue its activities, contributing to the advancement of Armenia and Artsakh and the continuation of several pro-national programs.”
Minister Hranush Hakobyan presented the programs and activities carried out by the RA Ministry of Diaspora over the past five years and urged the representatives of the Fund’s local chapters to collaborate more efficiently and help more Armenian communities show more active participation in the programs of the Ministry of Diaspora.
Through a video, Chief of Staff of the RA Ministry of Diaspora Firdus Zakaryan presented the initiatives taken by the RA Ministry of Diaspora with the purpose of solving the issues facing the Syrian-Armenians in Armenia.
In his speech at the event, Executive Director of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Ara Vardanyan expressed gratitude to the organizers of the meeting and presented the future opportunities for cooperation and the problems in regard to that. Vardanyan also attached importance to the completed programs and future actions with the Ministry of Diaspora to solve the Syrian-Armenians’ issues.
The members of the Board of Trustees of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund expressed their concerns and made their comments and suggestions.
Summing up the meeting, Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan suggested that the Fund’s main and local chapters become a part of the information field created by the Ministry of Diaspora, provide information about the Fund’s events on a regular basis, as well as collaborate for the consolidation and efficient use of the potential of all Armenians and the implementation of other programs of pan-Armenian significance.
