During the March 27 meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council, Armenia’s Permanent Representative, Ambassador Arman Kirakossian made a statement on the situation in Kessab.

Expressing deep concern over the sharp intensification of the situation in northwest Syria, the RA Ambassador mentioned that Turkish terrorist groups attacked the Armenian-populated city of Kessab, as a result of which the citizens were deported.

Ambassador Kirakossian drew attention to the fact that the extremist groups’ deportations of the residents have led to severe losses and have damaged Armenian churches, reports the RA MFA press office to “Hayern Aysor”.
