Cultural event devoted to Pan-Armenian Winter Games held in Tsakhkadzor
The torch of the first Pan-Armenian Winter Games will be blown out in two days. The participants of the Pan-Armenian Winter Games will leave Armenia not only with achievements, new contacts and interesting memories, but will also take with them memories of the nice evening that was organized by the RA Ministry of Diaspora.
The beautiful event held at the sport complex in Tsakhkadzor on Feb. 27 had brought together not only participants of the Pan-Armenian Games, but also foreign guests and employees of the RA Ministry of Diaspora.
The event included performances by Honorable Artist of the Republic of Armenia Ruben Sahakyan, wonderful folk singers Hayk Yesayan, Haykuhi Babakhanyan, musicians Harutyun Chkolyan (zurna), Albert Ordinyan (dhol) and David Hayrikyan (duduk). The event also included reciting of poetry by member of Mesrop Mashtots Speech Culture Center Marianna Sahradyan.
The magical melodies of Armenian folk and patriotic songs and the sounds of the dhol, zurna and duduk excited the guests so much that they participated not only with endless rounds of applause, but also danced together. The more active participants were the athletes from Iran, Lebanon and Georgia.
During the event, head of division of the Department of All-Armenian Programs Greta Mnatsakanyan transmitted the welcoming remarks of RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan and presented Armenia’s emblems to the leaders of the delegations from the Armenian Diaspora.
