On November 3, Minister of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia Hranush Hakobyan had a meeting with Director of Tavros Armenian Cultural Center in the Atyrau region of Kazakhstan and businessman Gagik Pluzyan.

Greeting the guest, the Minister expressed satisfaction with the help that has been provided to the Armenian community in Atyrau. Gagik Pluzyan informed Minister Hakobyan about certain problems of the community and particularly set aside the demand for teachers at the local Armenian one-day school and the lack of textbooks and didactic materials as a current issue.

The Minister assigned the relevant subdivision of the Ministry of Diaspora to organize the distribution of school textbooks and DVDs to the community. As far as the lack of teachers, the Minister proposed options for the solution to the issue, including teacher training in Armenia.

Hranush Hakobyan and Gagik Pluzyan also discussed several issues on the return of the Armenians of Kazakhstan to the homeland.
