The Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan met Primate of the Armenian Church in Damascus, Bishop Armash Nalbandian and representatives of the Armenian community. The Minister informed the community representatives about the arrangements reached during the visit to Syria and results of discussions with various officials. He pointed out that prerequisites are being drafted to create joint productions and enable the Syrian businessmen engage in productions in Armenia and enter EU and EAEU markets. The Minister discussed with the problems of the community, as well as answered to the questions of the Armenians in Damascus.

Within the framework of the visit to Syria, the Armenian delegation also had meetings with the SAR Investment Agency and the Syrian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
