On July 18, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received France-based Armenian writer, publicist, member of the Unions of Writers of Armenia and Artsakh, host of the radio shows “Stories about Artsakh” and “Open Letter with Compulsion to Tell the Truth” on AYP FM in Paris and commentator Angela Sahakyan.

Greeting the guest, the Minister attached importance to the writer’s pro-national activities aimed at preserving the Armenian language and identity in the Diaspora, touched upon the need to touch upon the Armenian Genocide and the heroic battle for Artsakh in her radio shows on a regular basis and invited her to participate in the 6^th Armenia-Diaspora Pan-Armenian Conference to be held in Yerevan from September 18 to 20.

Angela Sahakyan expressed gratitude for the cordial reception and stated that she is originally from Artsakh and will be presenting the French version of her book “Compulsion of the Truth” at the Union of Writers in Yerevan and in Artsakh in the next couple of days. “The genocide continues in Artsakh,” she added.
