Amsterdam-Armenians form human chain to commemorate Armenian Genocide martyrs

April 23rd was an extremely memorable day for the pupils of the Surb Grigor Narekatsi Armenian School in Amsterdam, as well as their teachers and parents.
As reported the Diary of the Netherlands to Hayern Aysor, the representatives of the School and the Holy Spirit Armenian Church commemorated the canonized martyrs of the Armenian Genocide with an event that enshrined once again the feeling of unity of the community.
Along the length of the dams in Amsterdam (a bridge of one of the dams is named Armeensebug, meaning “Armenian Bridge”), the Armenian believers of the Holy Spirit Church formed a human chain in memory of the martyrs of the Armenian Genocide. This event followed the previous one held last year.
