RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan receives 30 active students of the Diaspora Armenian Students’ Council
On November 19, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received the 30 most active Diaspora Armenian students of the Diaspora Armenian Students’ Council from more than 10 countries around the world. The students were led by President of the DASC Samvel Mkoyan.
Congratulating the Diaspora Armenian students on International Students’ Day, Minister Hranush Hakobyan particularly said: “Dear youth, you have had the opportunity to live and receive an education in another social order that has given you the opportunity to think more freely and have a broader world view.”
Mrs. Hakobyan called on the students to study well, be competitive, come up with many ideas and be innovative as the generation of worthy Armenians of the 21st century, as well as good citizens and keep the image of the nation and great human attributes wherever they may be.
Hranush Hakobyan also granted the certificates of appreciation of the RA Ministry of Diaspora to the 10 Diaspora Armenian students who had been the most active in community service and had shown the most progress over the past year.
Expressing gratitude to RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan for her ongoing care and attention towards Diaspora Armenian students, President of the DASC Samvel Mkoyan mentioned: “The youth are ready to work when their work is appreciated. This meeting held on the occasion of International Students’ Day will give us more energy.”
In the end, the RA Minister of Diaspora answered the students’ questions of concern.
