RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan receives Armenian singers and musicians leaving for Australia through the 2013-14 Program for Support to Solutions to Key Educational and Cultural Issues Facing Australian-Armenian Communities

On November 18, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received the Armenian singers and musicians to be leaving for Australia as part of the 2013-14 Program for Support to Solutions to the Key Educational and Cultural Issues Facing Australian-Armenian Communities.
During the meeting, the minister expressed gratitude to the gathered for their response and participation in the program and attached importance to the organizing of such an event. The minister also said the Australian-Armenian community is one of the well-organized communities of the Armenian Diaspora with patriotic Armenians, adding that the presence of the artists would only inspire them and make them feel proud.
RA Distinguished Artists Leyla Saribekyan and Arsen Grigoryan (Mro), singer Sona Shahgeldyan, pianist, composer Garik Saribekyan and pianist Tatevik Hayrumyan will be leaving for Australia to meet with the local community and give charity concerts within the framework of the program.
