On August 27, the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia hosted the participants of the “Ari Tun” Program of the previous years. They participated in the camping event along with the participants of the eighth stage of the 2016 “Ari Tun” Program.
Greeting the young Diaspora Armenians, Minister Hranush Hakobyan said the following: “I hope you left with the best memories and became more connected to your Homeland after the program ended. The impressions that you got during the visits helped you make new friends. Remember that you must speak in Armenian in your countries of residence since the Armenian language is the guarantee for the preservation of the image and identity of all Armenians. My goal is to always see you as Armenians in all parts of the world.”
The Minister asked about the former participants’ achievements, educational advancement and called on them to grow up as dignified Armenians and contribute to Armenia’s development through their future activities.
The Minister urged the young Armenians to share their opinions of the program and their suggestions and assured that the Ministry would be consistent with making sure they are taken into consideration.
The youth thanked the Minister for providing them with the opportunity to enjoy the days of the camping event once again and stressed that they have always remembered the days of the “Ari Tun” Program.
Hearing their opinions, Minister Hranush Hakobyan suggested creating a club for participants of the “Ari Tun” Program that would become a special place for all the participants of the program to gather in the Mother Homeland.
