RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan receives Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Great Britain, Fr. Bishop Hovakim Manoukian

On August 9, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Great Britain, Fr. Bishop Hovakim Manoukian. Among those attending the meeting were British-Armenian benefactor Raffi Danielian and Chairwoman of ARS Great Britain Arshalouys Papoian.
The Minister greeted the guests and praised Bishop Hovakim Manoukian’s efforts.
The spiritual leader presented the activities that British-Armenian benefactor Raffi Danielian and Chairwoman of ARS Great Britain Arshalouys Papoian have carried out for the Armenian community.
The Minister presented the programs and projects of the RA Ministry of Diaspora, stressing the need for participation of the Armenian community of Great Britain in those programs and projects, especially the “Ari Tun” Program, the “My Armenia” Pan-Armenian Festival and the “Diaspora” Summer School Program.
Fr. Bishop Hovakim Manoukian also attached importance to the cooperation with the RA Ministry of Diaspora.
The sides discussed the screening of the documentary film “Who Killed the Armenians?” directed by Arab journalists Myriam Zaki and Muhammad Hanafi and the organizing of concerts for Armenia’s artists in Great Britain.
At the end, the guests expressed gratitude to the Minister of Diaspora for the cordial reception and expressed their willingness for more effective cooperation in the future.
