РусскийArmenian folk and pop music concert held as part of “My Armenia” Pan-Armenian Festival
On August 9, a concert devoted to Armenian folk and pop music was held on the sidelines of the “My Armenia” Pan-Armenian Festival at Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall.
The concert began with a performance of Komitas’s song “Khio-Khane” by Armenia’s Vanator Ensemble, featuring a solo by Moldovan-Armenian singer Kristine Sahakyan.
Among other performers were Roza Tspnetsyan, Ani Gabrielyan, Angela Avetisyan and Svetlana Shahbazyan from Russia, Haiastan Ispiryan from Georgia (Javakhk), Haikashot Avagyan from Bulgaria and Masis Minasyan from Uzbekistan.
