Participants of the “My Armenia” Pan-Armenian Festival visit Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial (photos)
According to Hayern Aysor, on July 26, the participants of the “My Armenia” Pan-Armenian Festival, which is organized by the RA Ministry of Diaspora, visited Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial and paid tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide by laying flowers near the eternal flame.
Afterwards, the participants visited the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute where they were introduced to the history of the Armenian Genocide. It was interesting to see how the Diaspora Armenian children and youth were examining the exhibited photos and videos. They were also introduced to the new exhibition opened on the occasion of the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide on April 21, 2015 and dedicated to Armenian Genocide survivor Aurora Mardiganian, who wrote about the brutalities perpetrated against the Armenians in her book entitled “Ravished Armenia”.
