Participants of “Ari Tun” Program: “We were born in Georgia, but have come to Armenia and will go to Artsakh…”
On July 11, the participants of the third stage of the “Ari Tun” Program completed their five-day Armenian language course dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Armenia at Yeghishe Charents School N 67 of Yerevan. Each teacher recapped the materials with Armenian songs and dances, and the children and youth bid their teachers farewell with the national spirit.
On the same day, the Tbilisi-Armenian participants of the third stage of the program recited poems and performed songs during an event that was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Armenia and that they had rehearsed with their teacher Mariam Sargsyan.
With great enthusiasm, the participants sang Armenian national and patriotic songs, performed a beautiful Armenian dance, enacted a fairy tale about the Armenian tricolor flag and recited the poems of Armenian poets Yeghishe Charents and Paruyr Sevak. They showed once again that the Homeland is not only in Armenia, but also outside of Armenia and that the Homeland is where the Armenian tricolor flag is waved.
The event ended with the following words:
“We were born in Georgia,
But we have come to Armenia
And will go to Artsakh…”
