Participants of “Ari Tun” Program: “Always stay this beautiful and strong, my Armenia!”

The Diaspora Armenian participants of the second stage of the 2016 “Ari Tun” Program of the RA Ministry of Diaspora shared their thoughts and impressions of Armenia with Hayern Aysor.

“Me: Greetings, my beautiful Armenia!

Armenia: Greetings! How can I be of service to you on your beautiful visit?

Me: I have come from a foreign country to enjoy your infinite beauty.

Armenia: It would be a great honor for me, my girl!

Me: My Armenia, why are you so melancholic?

Armenia: I am only melancholic in the inside. It is the imprint in my history, but in reality, I am strong and creative.

Me: Armenia, I am very proud of you and very happy to be Armenian”-Turkish-Armenian Seda Safaryan expressed her love and warmth with this short dialogue.

“I have known Armenia for many years. Unfortunately, I don’t live in Armenia, but I love Armenia very much. It is my home. It is wonderful to revisit Armenia, feel the air of the Homeland, drink the cold and sweet-tasting water and listen to conversations in Armenian after so many years…I love the good and bad sides of Armenia. I think me and my friends are very lucky to have had the opportunity to visit Armenia, tour the country and admire it. I hope I return to settle and live in my home years later,” these are the touchy words of Gaiane Aloian from Turkey.

“Hello, Armenia, my very dear friend, my relative! I visited you again after five years. I had missed you a lot. I wanted to see you, be in your cities and villages, the sites worth visiting, enjoy your summer and your gold color, sweet-tasting apricots. My dream came true. You are very beautiful, but some people are trying to make you look ugly with their behavior. Don’t let them and always stay this beautiful and strong, this brilliant, my good friend!”-Anna Ivanian from Turkey concluded with this heartfelt desire.

Let’s hope that their great and everlasting longing for the Homeland will pave the way for them to return to the Homeland someday.
