On April 24, thousands of Armenians of the Russian city of Stavropol, as well as leaders of other communities and representatives of the municipal authorities participated in an event commemorating the 101^st anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in the yard of the Saint Mary Armenian Apostolic Church of Stavropol, as reported the Armenian community of Stavropol to Hayern Aysor.

Let us add that the event included a performance by the chamber choir of Vladikavkaz and an all-Russian event called “Immortal Souls” during which thousands of balloons were released into the air.

The event was dedicated to the memory of the canonized martyrs of the Armenian Genocide.
