Armenian Genocide commemoration events held in several US cities

Ahead of April 24th, the Armenian community of Washington DC organized several events and demonstrations to respect the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide and call the U.S. government’s attention to this major event. The Armenians of Washington DC also organized a candlelight vigil in front of the White House.

The Unified Armenian Youth organization has also organized several events in Glendale, California. On Saturday evening, the events dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the Armenian Genocide kicked off with a candlelight vigil, writes armradio.am.
