On April 14, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received the delegation led by Deputy Director of the Danish Immigration Service of the Kingdom of Denmark Elze Olgard. The delegation included senior consultant Henriet Vitchen and the country’s senior advisor Kenneth Moller.

During the meeting, the guests provided information regarding refugees and those seeking shelter in the Kingdom of Denmark and asked about the legal grounds for acquiring citizenship and dual citizenship in Armenia, the status of Syrian-Armenians and the reasons behind emigration.

Responding to the guests’ questions in detail, Minister Hranush Hakobyan focused on the current state of affairs in Nagorno-Karabakh, stressing the fact that all European structures and organizations must combine their efforts and speak out against such atrocities and the crudest human rights violations in order to help eliminate the causes that lead to becoming refugees.
