PACE President says there might not be any discussion on the resolutions on Karabakh

Today marked the launch of the January 25-29 Winter Sitting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.
Before the Winter Sitting, President of the PACE Anne Brasseur, whose powers end today, gave a press conference and answered journalists’ questions.
Presenting the agenda of the PACE, Anne Brasseur also mentioned the drafts of the two anti-Armenian resolutions include in the agenda of the PACE, including the reports entitled “Escalation of Violence in Nagorno-Karabakh and Other Occupied Territories of Azerbaijan” and “Inhabitants of Frontier Regions of Azerbaijan are Deliberately Deprived of Water”, the discussion and voting of which are scheduled for January 26.
However, Anne Brasseur voiced hope that there are several recommendations to not hold a discussion on the drafts of the above mentioned resolutions.
“Of course, the Assembly must make the final decision to hold a discussion or not, or send it back to the committee,” Anne Brasseur said, as reports Panorama.am.
