The Armenian government has approved the program and list of events for the 2015 “We Sing Komitas” Pan-Armenian Festival, as the press service of the Government reports.

The results of the 2013 Komitas Vardapet Festival were taken into account during the development of the program. During that festival, 300 representatives from 9 countries had participated in 15 events.

During today’s session, to design and prepare instructional maps devoted to the Armenian Genocide Centennial, the government redistributed funds in the 2015 State Budget, made amendments and supplements to its previously adopted decision, as a result of which Armenia will have more than a dozen maps ahead of the Armenian Genocide Centennial that will be distributed to educational institutions in the Republic of Armenia, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and in the Armenian Diaspora. The Prime Minister said he had seen samples of the maps and praised the efforts that had been made.
