On November 19, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received chairman of the board of the Republican Headquarters of Student Brigades-Voluntary Service of Armeni non-governmental organization Stepan Stepanyan.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the possibilities of engaging Diaspora Armenian youth in the activities of the student construction brigades.

“The student/youth brigades are wonderful smithies for labor, and joint efforts help consolidate the youth and help them become friends and nice to each other. Today, young Armenians must also make a certain contribution to the advancement of the homeland. In this sense, consolidating the youth of Armenia and the Diaspora can be very effective,” Hranush Hakobyan said.

Stepan Stepanyan said the offer was motivating and mentioned that he has many years of experience in working with young Armenians of Armenia and the Diaspora and is ready to collaborate in this field. He also expressed gratitude to the RA Minister of Diaspora for awarding him with the Boghos Nubar Medal of the RA Ministry of Diaspora, which binds him to work harder.
