The above mentioned are parts of a film…If we take a look at the reality, we’ll see that they (the Turks and the Azerbaijanis-editors of Akunq) are unsuccessful and can’t get rid of us…And they won’t be able to…

It is because the foundations are strong.

Every time the “bloodthirsty wolves” rip a part of our souls, they think we will be eliminated. What do we Armenians do? We pour salt on our wounds and continue to live with persistence, and we will continue to do.

They won’t be able to eliminate us…

Like pieces taken from an entire film, we will continue from the place where they tried to rip us apart every time. Even now, the “bloodthirsty wolves” are trying to eliminate “those who managed to escape from the sword” (referring to the Armenians who escaped the Genocide and stayed in Western Armenia-editors of Akunq). The “soul” can only be taken once.

They took our “soul” in 1915. They thought we had been eliminated. They hadn’t taken into consideration the fact that people like us live in the souls of those who were killed in 1915. Does the soul really die? Those souls have spread and have entered into bodies, sometimes those of Arabs, sometimes those of Turks and sometimes even those of Kurds.

“The wind is howling again, blowing off our homes, leaving us helpless.

What people like us want is not to maintain our existence in a gold cage. We want to live in our Ergir (Land), in our wooden homes, with bread and onions.”

The tape of the film was ripped again. It continued in Aleppo, Damascus and Kessab. Now the winds have started blowing again from Sasun, Mush, Diyarbakir and Van…

May Tumanyan keep the hammer ready to open the doors…

And the rest?

The rest have to continue to keep vigil in the Ergir (Land)…

With respect,

Karot Sasounian

Tigranakert (Diyarbakir)
